Hi,

Tried calling the hotline number that you have mentioned, but I got the automated system and could not talk to anybody. They give the std automated BS message that they cannot give individual status and it hangs up. Tried to call the person from whom we got the doc request mail too, but went to voicemail. Will update again if I get to talk to a person!

I still have not received my nomination letter.

Please, for those who have recieved the nomination certificate, can you tell me what sort of mail did AINP use?

Was it registered, express or priority etc?

I sent my doc request on Dec 16. I sent them an email recently and they told me they have issued my certificate and that it should be in the mail. But almost everyone that got doc requests around dec 15th and 16th have received their certificate.

Jasper, you sually give detailed answers. Can you help me with the questions above.

Thanks :(

Hi jovan,

I don't know whether my information is useful this time because I'm working with my lawyer, but here's my nomination receipt timeline/info:
My nomination was issued on Nov 23 (according to the date written on my nomination certificate). My lawyer (in Montreal, Canada) received the certificate on Dec 3 (I'm sorry I don't know how the package looked like). Then on Dec 5, I received a copy of my nomination certificate from Governemnt of Alberta by mail (it was the same letter as the one the law firm received on Dec 3, but mine was stamped "COPY"). The copy of certificate I received was contained in a white envelope (No.10 size), regular mail (CA$0.98 postage), and its postmark date was Dec 1. So it took 5 business days for the certificate (copy) to travel from Alberta to my home (I live in Los Angeles).
