H1 B - Canada Open Work permit - July 16

Has anyone got any status updates for their application submitted on July 16/July 17 for the Open Work Permit that Canada opened for H1B holders?

Got PoE letter today

I got letter passport submission letter on August 31 and submitted it on September 21. My passport is still in VAC.

@jijo_thomaz @siths - can you advise on timeline for NY processing office - if passport is submitted tomorrow, when can one get it back? Have travel plans booked for early march

@HereiCome2 One of my friend recently(January first week) submitted his passport in NY VAC, he got it within 10 days.

Hi I received my passport with visa in 2 weeks.

Folks, sorry one more question. If PPR does not ask for photos, would they still ask for photos for open work permit?
