Sman,
No notarized copies needed at this stage.
Only notarize if translations are being provided.

I was reading on some of the other threads.....pretty discouraging information that "Alberta is sending out letters to the applicants with IT NOC codes that their files have been closed due to IT jobs not being under pressure at this time"

This has happened to some of the guys who had applied in April 2009 onwards....almost 1 year of wait to hear that they no longer qualify.

But thats what is life I guess......10 new avenues open when 1 avenue closes !

Hi venks80. I entered your CIC timeline with "3/19/2010" as Application Receipt Date. And I'll be right behind you guys in this Buffalo process! I'll post my timeline as soon as my application reaches Buffalo!

And thank you all for sharing your timelines. I enter the timelines posted on this forum to the spreadsheet at least once a day (it may take some time for the updates to be online), so please let me know if I miss anyone's timeline or enter incorrect info.

Hi all!
If you have already sent in your application to CIC and are in the process can you please send in information of the following dates to this thread? Jasper and vsrao are maintaining an awesome spreadsheet that helps us evaluate time trends. I note there are no entries since Aug 2009 filing date and think many of your cases are not in the list. Thus this request. Please spare some time and provide your timelines. Thanks a zillion!

Date Appl received by CIC:
Date CIC request for correction (if any):
Date Money Order cashed by CIC:
Date of Medical request/ AOR recd date:
Date medicals done:
Date of consular transfer:
Date of passport request from CIC:
Date passport received back with Visa:

Thanks again!
Cheers,
Manny

Guess you can stay in alberta and work for company in toranto from home.

All,

I don't know why some people are getting their FBI so quickly and others are not?

Thanks Virgo

*** UPDATE ***

I am just updating on my Question as this might be useful for someone else.

I called up Alberta Immigration Info Service, and they told me that its NOT possible to live in Alberta and work for Out-of-State Company.

vsrao thanks a lot for the prompt action.

Also there is only 10 days different between yours and mine time line. So I should hear any updates right after you.

Thanks

Thanks for your prompt response. I'll send the application to CIC the same day I get my FBI results. Are you sending original AINP nomination letter or copy of it.

Original

My marriage date (date1) is different than the date (date2) it is registered. In the certificate it is specified as the marriage is registered on date2, it doesn't specified about actual marriage date. I am confused which date I need to put. Does anybody in the same situation?

can anybody please advise which payment method should I use so that I can check the status when it get cashed.
Should I send using Money Order, Bank Draft or Cashier's Check? And How would I be able to check it?
Please advise as I am ready to submit application to CIC.

Today I mailed the CIC application to Buffalo. In the money oder by-mistake I wrote payee name as "Receiver General of Canada" instead of "Canadian Consulate General", will it be a problem?

You will find out in a couple of weeks, maybe less.

There is nothing you can do about it now, so just relax and be patient.

Cheers,
