Thanks, Kale. I entered your info in the spreadsheet, so it will be online soon.

To my understanding, PO BOX address is not a valid mode of communication for immigration process. Will leave others to comment.

Does anyone know if we can put a po box address in usa as mailing address for cic step?

Thanks Jasper and desikiVAAT, you guys are doing a great job on this forum. I was just wondering how we can inform CIC if in our case our address changes and we still do not have an AOR? since there is no reference to our application #?

Can i post here guys :o. I have a serious doubt which has gone un answered , if i submited a joint PR and work permit(under pnp) and attached PCCs , now they issued me both file numbers and requested me to submit PCCs for work permit. Is this usual as both applications were in the same file?, should i sent the a copy of the PCC or i have to make a new set?Should i ask them these queries and which way am i gonna ask. They gave me a 30 day deadline.
Pleeese, help me out

Re: H1-Alberta PNP-nominations NOV'09 and later+PCC, FBI,CIC application discuss

Amnaj,
Since you have both file numbers now. I would recommend that you fax a letter stating the issue, ask them if copies would be ok. Also email the query to cic.
Their procedures sometimes require all information to be complete so best would b to get cic's final verdict.
Good luck!

Change of Address

You can register a change in your address by sending an e-mail to:

buffalo-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

Be sure to provide:

Your file number

Your full name

Your date of birth

Your country of birth

Your citizenship

Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Buffalo.

I think you can leave file number and make sure you update AINP also.

In my case, there's no criminal history, so my FBI certificate looks like this:

Subject Name Received Returned Result
XXXXX XXXXX 12/14/2009 02/23/2010 NO ARREST RECORD - FBI

Social Security Number: XXX-XX-XXXX (shows the last 4 digits only)

I think the result shows/lists only the criminal history with arrest record.

Thank you for your response.

Has anyone with a hit of arrest record (however minor such as a dismissed misdemeanor with no conviction), received FBI letter? Please post your experience with receiving FBI clearance certificate and the contents of FBI letter. You may post just a summary or a gist of the letter without getting into the specific details of arrest record.

FBI Fingerprint reqest mailed on Jan 15th 2010.
FBI payment received fromCredit Card - March 12th 2010. Awaiting FBI Letter.

Might help while filling application... was going through all info on how to fill forms when i came across this.....would have totally missed it if i had gone through the papers that came with Nomination cert.

In the "Application for Permanent Residence" where you need to check on "Economic Class"..dnt forget to fill in "PNP" in "other"

OMG, I didn't fill in "PNP" in "other" box, just check the "economic class". I didn't notice this when I filled my form. What should I do? Will they return my package? Usually how long can we get a returned package?

It is not likely that your application will be returned because of this. The CIC's Guide for Provincial Nominees (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EP7.pdf) says to check the “Economic class” box and does not mention about anything else for this section (Writing PNP in "Other" box is optional). And your application package includes nomination certificate from AINP, so it will be fine.

Thank you, hope those CIC guys would be as reasonable as you are. :D
