Today I got PCC from Washington DC Indian embassy, and it has this information. Is this information correct? is everyone getting like this one?

This is to certify that there is no adverse information in the records od embassy of india aganist Mr name indian passport number ---- issued at hyderabad on ---- which would render him ineligible for the grant of travel facilities including visa for canada

It's fine, there is no need to worry. When i received my PCC i read only the last part in a hurry which said " inelligible" and was little worried for a second but on reading the complete sentence i found it was o.k. " No adverse information which would render X inelligible" ... this is o.k!!

I applied for PCC / BC from Indian Consulate NY. I got them yesterday .My middle name spelled incorrectly.

will that matter .coz we only mention intial as middle name. or do i have to reapply for the same ..

thanks

I got the same letter from NY consulate
so we may have to wait for the feedback from other people who applied at different consulates like sfo, houston, chicago etc..

1. You have to update the information on the forms and sign the forms again.
2. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-application.asp
3. FBI: http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm
I don't have any information on Canada PCC, but state PCCs are optional and not necessary when you submit your documents to Buffalo (CIC may ask for them later in the process). But if you decide to submit them, here's the link for State PCC contacts: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/Detroit/offices-bureaux/certificates-certificat.aspx?lang=eng&menu_id=332&menu=L
4. You should fax your PN Acknowledgement Form within 30 days from the date written on your nomination certificate or as soon as you can.
5. That's right. Just Acknowledgement Form for now. But you also have to send Status Update Form later.
6. Yes, birth certificate is required.

got India PCC in 2 weeks.

Applied on : Jan 5, 2010
Received on : Jan 20, 2010

Birth Certificate does not have to be original nor recent. So you can use your old birth certificate .

Some of the original documents that CIC required are "FBI" , "PCC" and they should not more than 3 months old.

Thanks

You don't need IMM 0008 Schedule 4A if you are applying under AINP SRS H1-B category. But just to be sure which forms you need to fill, it is best to follow this document checklist for Buffalo: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf
Just follow column P (Provincial Nominee) in the checklist to find which forms/documents you need to submit.

Good Luck!

Hi Seniors,
Your response is highly appreciated.

You must inlcude your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable, and all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are not already permanent residents or citizens of Canada.

Apart from me and my husband and kid, do we need to include parents details and brother and sister details even they dont have passport?
