I came in to the country 2018. Refugee claimant failed. Had to use a new Lawyer for my PRRA, when I reviewed what the old lawyer did he did not do a good job on Hardship and following cases here. I was in the process of changing to the new Lawyer for my H&C hence the decision. I have a child here and 2 foreign. Pictures was sent of my child in skool.
Did your lawyer send a long explanatory letter to explain your case ? Did you send proofs (documents articles.....) to explain the situation in your home country?

No the old lawyer did not do so in the H&C, I saw the difference with the PRRA with my new Lawyer. Obviously they did not considered our updates last week before arriving on the decision. Am working in the Essential service sector.

Hope is the last thing to loose. Get a good lawyer who will take it from there and you will get a positive answer.
You need to stay focused and bear in mind that Impossible does not stop God. Have faith.

Hello Family,

I just got a decision made today on my H&C application waiting for lawyer to send me reason. Already sent my PRRA in last month. Right now feels the world crumbled on my feet..
Waooo, I know mine will soon come because it seems our application went to process almost at thesame time.

Hello I am a refugee from living in Rwanda from Democratic Republic of Congo and you may give me a refugee resettlement if possible please
Thank you for your time

To qualify for the health care worker pathway, you must be a refugee claimant or a failed refugee claimant (H&C claimants do not qualify).

You must also have at least 120 hours of paid health care worker experience in Canada between the dates of March 13 and August 13, 2020. Do you have paid work experience as a health care worker in Canada from last year that was gained under a work permit?
That's not true. H&C applicants are 100% qualified. I'm one of them.

But you're also a failed refugee claimant - you aren't just an H&C claimant - right?

I explained what I said badly. What I meant to say are that those who are ONLY H&C applicants do not qualify. You would need to also be a failed refugee claimant.

It also depends on what country you are from. Given your PPRA application result you aren't from one of the countries that Canada feels is unsafe.
