I have a biometric on their file thats less than 10 years old so they didn't ask for one. This is how they requested it, "Upon review of the application, it has been noted that RCMP Fingerprints are required for the principal applicant. Please submit the results once received."

I know sometimes they ask for RCMP fingerprints when the applicant has been living in Canada for 8yrs/10yrs or more

Seems everything is on hold for a reason. What reason is we dont know

The only reason an application is on hold is if they are waiting for their other case to be processed first. The rest of the time is just normal processing time. Applications still take 4-24 months which is better than the 2-3 years it used to take.

Me ❤ Aip since June

Guess everyone please

They are busy it seems but also very slow. The wait feels breathless but there's nothing we can do. I really hope my rcmp certificate doesn't take that long.
As long as you have been in Canada for the past 10 years, it won't take that much time . You are almost there, its the last hurdle . Hopefully in the next couple of weeks , you will have you COPR. Best of luck.
