Okay katayon let’s explain it
1- eligibility not started yet
2-security not started yet
3-medical not started yet
4-criminality passed
5- info sharing completed
The question is here is it a positive sign for getting AIP according my information or it’s jus normal procedure for everyone I know when they said medical received or any update about it means ircc already decided to approve the application but what about 4 and 5 is it positive signs?
For AIP you need eligibility. Criminality passed is good but does not guarantee anything as it all depends on the strength of your HC arguments (=eligibility). This is the key for Stage 1. You will worry about criminality and security at Stage 2.

Hi guys, IRCC asked me to resubmit the representative form again with a new signature ( I don't know why) I already received AOR that's mean everything is complete but they want another representative form with new signature..

Update : I just asked my lawyer she said that they sent this form when she sent a webform last week.

Please i need help on procedure how to.apply for HN C
You can apply on your own or use a representative/lawyer. All you need to know are the prerequisite needed to be granted PR under H&C application and able to present/prove them. The key point to know and remember is that “the onus depend on you”, especially if you are using a representative/lawyer…. I personally used/using a lawyer. If you want to apply on your own, you might need to search past threads or lucky somebody replies telling you how to go about it. Good luck pal.

Hi,
Is this your first application?

My advise is to not really listen to automatic phone system, maybe the officer will finalize his decision very soon and phone system still saying we are just checking your background and maybe the officer didn't even open the file but the phone system say that they are checking eligibility requirements ( Even if eligibility is for stage 2 and not stage 1 for h and c cases)

You can apply for GCMS notes or you can call them Monday morning maybe they will give you more informations at least if they sent your file to another office

Some people got their decisions after 4, 6 ,8 months or probably one year but it could be around 17 months for others

Probably he meant by eligibility that officer is working on your file / your arguments so it's sure that they opened your application, now the processing time depends on the officer and how he works.
in reality, the word eligibility means if the applicant can obtain permanent residence (so it is the processing of the granting of permanent PR it is the second stage of h&c application which is the easiest but the first stage is whether the applicant has enough humanitarian arguments to obtain an exception to be able to apply for permanent residence from within Canada)

Good afternoon Dear All friends, I am currently preparing my own H&C application on the best interest of child. My question is about affidavit. How big or small the affidavit should be? I understand the quality of evidence is more important than quantity here however still want to know how much details in terms of number of pages is deemed OK? I want to make sure I do not provide too much detail and also do not want to be too short as well. Is an affidavit with 6-7 pages of explanation sufficient? Is it too much or too little? Thanks in advance for any thoughts dear all.

There is no magic number. The letter must have a good structure and flow; it should be succinct and tell your full immigration story from the day you landed and highlight your key HC arguments/proofs. My letters are 7 pages max because that's my writing style. Others write more. Note though that if you have too many pages you may lose agent's attention by the time she reaches first half.

Hello guys,
Please give your thoughts I have applied for parents PR under H & C on following grounds. Obviously it depends on the decision maker how they see our application:
1. Am Canadian citizen well established government job in ministry meeting all income requirements since long time to sponsor my parents but no invitation
2. No invitation from 3 years even though I successfully submitted form so lottery system didn’t worked for them
3. Both parents 56 year old living in Canada on valid legal status since 10 years with work permit but due to language score they are not meeting to get PR under economic immigration
4. I am lonely child no siblings not married
5. Parents have no one in back home country..no financial support no friends no family member
6. I have property, job, good financial history in Canada
7. Parents have lots friends in Canada, they doing volunteer in community and enrollled in post secondary education with study permit
8. They never went outside canada and remained on always legal status and still on legal status
9. Father recently treated with medical condition and keeping follow up with Canadian specialists

do you think I should hire lawyer to update our case to make case law argument to strengthen our application or should I do by my own self as originally I submitted app by myself with support of all evidence
-parents established in Canada
-Family and community ties in Canada through work, volunteer, education and Canadian child
-no sponsorship available even no guarantee at all when they will be selected
- can’t travel in planes due to medical device inserted in father heart and recommended by specialist do not travel in planes

please give ur valuable opinions

what do you mean by no invitation for 3 years? That you have not received acknowledgment of receipt? Or you mean you have not heard updates since then? You need to order GCMS notes and also try involve your MP to get your file moving - 3 years is a long time and the more you wait the more age-related health issues will emerge, which may warrant asking for medical exemption later as the agent may try to argue that they will be burden on health system. Whether you go with lawyer or yourself is up to you. My lawyers have all been incompetent sloppy individuals that ripped me off fortune and lost all applications and appeals, but others here have been more lucky.
