It isn’t clear still what is immigration next step after refusing me. My lawyer said it is only keep my address updated and if they want to deport me, they are gonna call me for a interview. So it is that? Just wait and hope they don’t call me and I have time to apply for the second time?
yes you do maybe a year or more
Majority CBSA officer are nice but there are a few foreigners are assholes
If they call you for interview just be calm and listen don’t make excuses or don’t say something let them what they offer you and how long have they might be put you vices reporting after your close to deportation ask for PRRA
The PRRA chances are 3%
But you can combine with H&c
Like PRRA/H&c

Hi @Ayanna I need some help as I told earlier in the thread that my refugee case was denied on past January 2022 . My work permit is valid till March 2022 . My question is .
1) should I apply to extend my work permit ? Will it give a red flag to cbsa or immigration?
2)or should I not apply for work permit and wait for 1 year to apply for H&C ?
3) if I apply to Renew my work permit will I be able to continue to work at my current company ? Will this put me on implied status? Please help me thanks I don’t know what should I do

1 it’s up to you make decision but if I were in shoes I will do it you can go JR Avoid deportation
About Cbsa it’s a tricky question maybe maybe not it’s all about luck
2 if you don’t apply for work permit how you gonna support yourself you have to work and pay taxes to make your H&c stronger
You don’t know what kind law will be next year
3 yes you can work in implied with same company as long you have decision on your permit

Go with your guts and make your best decision before you do nothing
Clear your mind I know it’s hard been there before
Your bless you’re still in Canada don’t lose this opportunity

I pray you have an H&C in and they don’t bother you. If I may ask was your JR for a failed H&C? And when did you apply JR? How long did it take for an answer.
Thanks
My JR was for a failed refugee claim
Applied in August 2021

If you’re our of status, there will be something written on letter that looks like this,

You are presently in Canada without valid status. A report will be written pursuant to section 44(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. As a result of this report, a Minister’s Delegate will be directed to hold a Proceeding pursuant to section 44(2) of the Act. You will be advised in due course as to the time and location of the Proceeding.
