To submit an H&C application, your mother must be physically in Canada.Hi All,
I am new to this thread (but not new to this Canadavisa forum of course). I am looking to apply PR residence visa for my mother in H&C ground and needs help to start that. I will go through the procedure but anyone can give me an idea on where to start would be a great help. I understand other programs very clearly but not much about H&C.
Just to give you context behind my situation that my mother is widowed and we have 3 brother sisters all PR living in Canada along with my 2 kids both born here.
Thanks in advance!
April 2021. This was his 3rd HC and he was under removal order so his processing was faster than usual.Nice , when your partner has submitted an application , mine was December 08 2020
Thank you for your help. Yea, she is in Canada on supervisa. It was IMM 5283 that I was looking for. Much appreciated! To submit an H&C application, your mother must be physically in Canada.
If she is in Canada, then you follow the steps here to apply:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/humanitarian-compassionate-considerations.html
Start by reading the Instruction Guide in detail. This will give you an idea of what you need to include in the application.
The fact that you and all of your siblings are living in Canada should make for a good H&C argument.
How did they send you the message? Do they just send you the email? Just curious because I'm only couple weeks later than you for AIP and MedicalNo , it’s still in process: I received message:
My lawyer sent message to Vancouver asking about my status cause we did not receive any information since I completed medical . So they messaged her back. How did they send you the message? Do they just send you the email? Just curious because I'm only couple weeks later than you for AIP and Medical

Hi katayoon, I have a question. when your partner was facing deportation did he write a letter to the h&c officer about the deportation so they would prioritize his application? My friend is in the same situation so I would like to know. Thanks.April 2021. This was his 3rd HC and he was under removal order so his processing was faster than usual.
No but his CBSA agent, who is a true angel that saved our family, asked IRCC to prioritize his case. He was himself surprised how quickly it went, because IRCC is under no obligation to follow CBSA requests. Bear in mind that this was his 3rd time to apply, which also explains faster processing.Hi katayoon, I have a question. when your partner was facing deportation did he write a letter to the h&c officer about the deportation so they would prioritize his application? Ok so here's the thing this is my friend's 3rd h&c application also. He was facing deportation then Cbsa granted a 3 months deferral. He filed an H&C application in April of this year till this day no AOR nothing. His lawyer told him that an officer from Vancouver called to ask about his son's mental heath state and if they were relying on the the letter or something like that(because a letter was submitted from his doctor as to what was going on) and that the file wasn't assigned to an officer but they are working on getting it assigned to one...that was over a month ago still nothing. No but his CBSA agent, who is a true angel that saved our family, asked IRCC to prioritize his case. if an Immigration Officer called the lawyer that is a good thing, the file will surely 99% approved for AIP. If you can see the first applicant here on this thread first (1st) page, she didn't received any AOR for long time and then she received call from Vancouver office and they asked about her son. She got approved AIP.Ok so here's the thing this is my friend's 3rd h&c application also. He was facing deportation then Cbsa granted a 3 months deferral.
