Iv waited 2 months for medical request and another month for police clearance. Im waiting for the final result
 
You have a good chance since you are only child ! I have the same situation, I’m only child ,father died ! I applied on last year , till now no results yet ! I would suggest you to take a good lawyer ! In that case my lawyer has a good success story ! But depends where do you live !
