Biometric request February 19

Aor February 24

I'm applying on best interest of a child i worked in Canada legally paid taxes for 5 years 2018 work permit expired. I have a 4-year-old son who was born in Canada I'm not with his mom anymore but we have a good co-parent relationship I get my son every weekend and I pay $600 in child support plus I buy his clothes I also open a savings account for him when he was born. IS THIS A GOOD GROUND FOR H&C?

Have you been without status since 2018?

Tough to say but you have a decent chance. You did have your child while you were already out of status. You should be aware that once you file you will now be on IRCC’s radar as someone without status. You can still be removed with an H&C application although you can attempt to get it put on hold. The H&C will be processed even if you are removed. Processing is around 2 years but will likely get longer if no reforms.

I'm aware of the risks but being out of status any immigration pathway gonna come with some risks.
