Ok Thankszardoz said:I think that this has already been answered elsewhere but given the information provided, I think that it would be a complete waste of time trying to get an H&C case out of this. Feel free to spend your money however...
I have 3 kids so total 7 family members i guess required 90k. also for immigration for parents take 84 months processing time...mikeymyke said:You should try sponsoring them. Income requirement is a modest $47K for a family of 3. If you don't meet this requirement, consider working a second job
It's much shorter than 84 months now.menti said:I have 3 kids so total 7 family members i guess required 90k. also for immigration for parents take 84 months processing time...

Hi,Hello guys,
for those who face problems in meeting the requirements of the Sponsorship of Parents program or just simply are tired of waiting out the years of possessing times, you may consider the application for permanent residence from within Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds (H&C) for your parents instead. (Your parent should be in Canada on the time of application)

I can definitely say – it works. We filed the application to sponsor our Mother back in May 2010 and after 4 years of waiting our application was refused due to the error in calculation of our income with no right to appeal....
But we did not give up and next month we filed another application for our Mother based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds (H&C) and we've won!
It looks like our timeline is one of the fastest for the H&R applications posted as it took the CIC just 11 months to finalize it.
Here it is:
Application sent on March 24 2014
AIP (1st stage approval) July 31 2014
Medicals and Police certificate request December 9 2014
Decision Made February 18 2015
Landing interview February 24 2015
It has taken exactly 11 months! Our Mom is a Permanent Resident now and we can finally relax.
Hi Inder,Hi Suin,
Congratulations! It must be a big relief for you & your mom.
I am also thinking of following the same path but my situation is little different from yours. Both my parents are healthy & with me on a super visa. They are 82 & 80 years old and have no one to take care of them in India as I am the only child. My problem is that I do not meet the minimum income required to sponsor the parents. I have consulted a few consultants & lawyers & they have suggested an in Canada H&C application. Can I ask you a few things? 1. Did you use a consultant/lawyer for your process?; 2. What were the compelling reasons you used in your application and what in your experience can work for me in my case?; 3. What evidence did you provide to support your H&C application? Any guidance or help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks .. Inder
HI,I know this post is very old but I was hoping I can get my question answered.
Did you use an immigration lawyer for the H&C application for your mother ? or did you apply by yourself? we are in the same situation with my mother and I would love to get some sort of guidance from someone who has gone through the same already
Any help would help
thanks
So just to clarify you have a sister in your home country , your mother is still alive and with your father ? By dependant you mean physically or financially ? Will Your father not have issues passing the medical ? In terms of applying you could be looking at a few years, every case is different but and this is only a personal view the challenge might be to overcome medical inadmissability.Hi Experts,
My both parents are alive, but my dad is 100% physically disabled due to a major accident 30 years ago.
I am the only son, one sister who is married and stays with her family.
Because of the condition of my father he is dependent on me. Does it sounds like a case for humanitarian grounds.
Also, how long should i be there in canada to apply PR for dad on this grounds
Appreciate your experts feedback

In order to even consider a H&C app, your father would need to be currently inside Canada, and should remain in Canada for entire duration of the processing.Hi Experts,
