Do you mean you don't have a valid passport? I don't know if H&C can be approved without a valid passport - I assume so.

You will get an email once you have AIP notifying you that you have reached first stage approval.

CBSA has instructed you to obtain an Inian Travel Document. So you'll have a travel document soon. Make sure you don't ignore CBSA's orders.

H&C can continue to be processed after you have been removed. You will have to discuss with your lawyer but it may be best to be cooperative. If you get approved you will have to repay your removal costs so you may want to remove yourself to save money. Given the attempt of removal you attempt to secure another work permit may be denied. You really need to talk to your lawyer to create a plan.
