Hello. I applied under SDS for my student visa. Medicals updated on 10th. When can I expect my decision? Also Does medicals passed means visa approval?

No, having your medical exam approved does not mean you are approved for a visa. Once you get a passport request, you'll know your permit is approved.

Processing time is roughly 3 weeks but that's an average since IRCC stopped making all visa office processing times public.

Thanks but on the IRCC website it is mentioned that under SDS it takes 20 days. I applied on 30th may gave my biometrics on 4th got my medicals passed at 10th and still no update

I applied online non sds on 31st May 2019 medical passed on 7th June they are reviewing my eligibility and processing my background check no updates from them hoping for passport request soon #hope.
