guys plzzzz help me out....
today 10100 cad has been deposited on my scotia bank account...but the problem is the deposit should be done through my bank account..but unfortunately the transaction is done through my father's account. i heard that it will get rejected.is that true. if it is rejected then the money will be credited or it takes some time??
plzz ans me guys...i am planning to drop visa within two weeks.
so plz give me suggestions. there is no time.
how i will come to know that the deposit has been accepted or rejected???
and how long it takes for the returning of the money,if it is rejected.

You haven't made it very clear what you are asking about and we aren't mind-readers. Is this a GIC for a study permit? If so, you need to post your question to the International Students section of the forum.

Father's account ---> Yours
If you got all the tracking info and etc, you will be fine as long as the bank knows that it was for studies and he is still sponsoring you.
It should not take more than 3 Business day really.
If not you can give the bank a call with all the information or have your dad call his bank that was sent through.
Just have patience. NO reason to be rejected unless it's money fraud.

I have spoken to the bank representatives
they said that money would get rejected though it is from my fathers account because the scotia gic programe rules have been changed,that funds must be transferred from students account only.
but anyhow I will try as much as possible to avoid rejection.
its not a fraud money.
and i willl keep a mail to them regarding dads accnt info etc and make sure that its nt fraud money and my dad is still sponsering me.

and one more thing..if it gets rejected,then how many days it will take to return into my dads account
2weeks ? or more...
its getting late for me to drop visa..because of this issue only
all my documentation is fine and completed.
just facing this gic deposit problem.
any idea?? how long it will take to return the money.??

Hi,

I don't think that there is any problem from where you send the money. I have applied for this sep session and did the same mistake, i paid the scotia bank by first transferring my money to my counsellors account and later he transferred the money to bank.
In total money was not transferred through my account and still i got my gic certificate.
