Have you been using ECAS? It sometimes has more information on it than cic direct. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas
Try here and see if it states your file was moved to mexico in december your file started processing in .... If it shows that It started processing. That is the indicator that they received the file and have begun doing their work.
It doesn’t show OV Mexico. The last thing it shows is the biometric. However they did send me email saying that my application was send to OV in Mexico. If it doesn’t show on the site does that mean they haven’t receive our application yet?

They may have received your file, but have not started on it as yet. You can email them, they should respond back within 10 business days through email.

Hi
Has anyone spouse visit them in Canada while waiting on their application Outland?

We tried to get a visitor visa for my wife. But that was rejected because she didn't have strong enough ties in Guyana. So we didn't try again don't want to waste money. I regret not applying for her visitor visa before we got married.

Our application spent 10 months in Mexico and now in Trinidad for 6 months. Be patient it’s hard for everyone in this situation . God willing it will be over soon .
