Finally....finally....got the maple leaf on our Passports plus COPR for all family members

My sincere and heartiest thanks to all members of this forum who have supported me through out the processing of 3 years and 25 days....

Special thanks to Qorax, PMM, Biju, Shanks74, Marchie, Rejis, bestpal, (all members of 6 to 12 months letter thread) and all Dubai applicants....(please forgive me if I missed anyone due to excitment).

I have learn a lot from this forum and will help other members to my best.

Not able to express my feelings and waiting for all members to get their visa very soon.

I am planning to land in August at Toronto and wish to fulfill my dreams at Land of Opportunities.

I have prepared my list at the airport in front of the officer though i had taken pictures of jewelries as recommended by Seniors which helped. But if you are preparing the list make sure you mention everything like cloths, shoes, utensils (if you are carrying them) for you and your dependent. They will ask you to provide estimate price of the goods you are carrying on the day of landing or will come at later stage.

--- How many Luggage is allowed?
I flew by Emirates so they allowed 46 kg of check-in luggage ( 2 bags ) and one hand bag. Most of the airlines allow 46 kg for north American destination but to be sure you have to check with your airline or check your itinerary, it must be mentioned in that.

I am from Gujarat and into SAP too... My husband is also in SAP. We both are in Functional Modules... and are THINKING of moving out of India, but not yet decided when we will apply and which country we should be selecting keeping in mind career prospects..

As I understand we need to get the 10th and 12th standard marksheets and certificates signed by State Examination Board.. je Gujarat na case ma GSEB thase..

Toh koi potano experience share karo please.. GSEB pase this attestation kevi rite karavi sakay? Gandhinagar javu padase? Ke bijo koi alternative chhe?

Ane, apart from 10th & 12th marksheets and Certificates I am sending following docs.. please let me know if I am missing any document

1. Photocopies of all the degrees (j mara case ma B.E. and MBA 6), self attested ane sealed cover ma nahi
2. Photocopies of all marksheets of all degrees, attested by Registrar and in sealed cover

Hi,
The SAP job market is good here keeping in mind, you are open to live in any province. For best, I would recommend you to check Canadian Job portals like workopolis.com, monster.ca, indeed.ca . You will have better idea about the field and requirement.

I recommend that you prepare your mind to do any kind of job if you dont get job into SAP for first few months. As most of the companies here are looking for Canadian experience (Specially in Functional and Development) and sometimes Security Clearance by saying so I am not trying to discourage you. All I am saying is that you should keep all the options open.
