dear omm,

what is the time line for MI-2 applicants normally??
my ecas is showing inprocess & my noc code is 7241 (electrician other industrial) so will you pls. let me know when cen i expect my MR?? & whithin what max time my procedure will be compeleted?

Hi OMM,

I am from India, mumbai (can understand Gujju but can't talk fluently) and need some information. Your help will be appreciated !!

I received my medical request on 16th January 2012 along with the Medical form (section A) which we need to carry to the DMP so that the Medical tests can be done.

Whats the process after this with regards to timeline?

Once the Medicals has been submitted by the DMP how long do i need to wait because I am in a dilemma and need some serious help/advice.

Q1) My 5 year old kids passport is expiring in September 2012, how soon should i apply for a new passport for him?

Q2) We are expecting another baby around may, so should we wait for the baby to be born and then do the medicals together once we get another medical request OR

Q3) Should we complete our medicals now and then do the medicals separately for the baby after its birth ??

Q4) My agent mentioned to me that we can always inform CIC about change in family composition and CIC will then wait till they get all the documents for the new born baby before they send me another Medical Request Form ? I am worried because I was not sure if it is a good idea to wait or just do the medicals now? (Deadline is March 01st for me to send my updated FBI records, get my Medical tests done and Pay the RPRF fees).

Q5) Once the Medicals are done how long does it take for CIC to request for Passport? (Is there/could there be any other information they ask after medicals and before the passport)??

Right now they have asked for our Updated FBI record since the last time we submitted the FBI record is more than an 1 1/2 years old. They have also asked for me to pay the RPRF fees within the next 60 days and ofcourse the Medical Forms which the DMP will send once we complete our tests.

My only concern and worry is about the medicals (to do it now or wait and do it after the baby is born) ?
Hope all the experienced and senior members help me get some answers to my doubts ?

Hi Karthikk,

You have to renew passport of your child.
About your wife medical exam query at this stage of pregnancy only issue is the xray, It's up to your wife's doctor whether to give permission for the chest xray, if doctor says it's okay your wife can undergo whole medical exam. If it's not permit by doctor, she can do the rest of the exam & wait until after the birth to do the xray, that should satisfy the VO so, that they won't cancel your application (you must have to inform VO about your wife pregnancy).
you have to inform VO and VO will tell you what needs to be done further, mostly new MR will issue.

Thanks for the quick turnaround bhai !! My agent told me that he is going to inform the VO about the family composition change before the deadline so that VO can give me more time, thou not sure if that will be the case hence wanted to check the safest option.
 
thats the already answered, if your wife doctor (gynecologist) agree for rest of the medical checkups than go for medica exam , even your DMP also guide you, DMP knows everything what to do and what to do not test at this level of pregnancy.
So, my suggesion is contact nearest DMP and go for the medical exam, so you have to wait for xray checkups after baby birth.
did you contacted your DMP before?
who is your agent can you PM (personal message) me just company name?

My Ecas still shows "In Process" and "Received your application on xxxx", besides that no extra line added to it, I am quiet worried.

once NDVO start processing , 1more line will be added than you will heard by NDVO, if all docs are good to satisfy VO than MR within 3months max after that status (we reviewed and started processin on your application line will be added once VO reviewed you application). tilll wait and watch.

Sachu kahu toa anoa koi matalab nathi, pan amuk loko nu 2nd AOR, file transfer, MR PPR RPRF ayu chhe etle loko em samje chhe ke kaik positive chhe, pan ketlay eva loko chhe jemnu address pachhu avi gayu aney hajuy kai VO nu communication nathi including me!!! maru address 2 vaar gayu aney pachhu avyu kai thayu nathi changes...
juvo may be kaik changes tamari application ma thay.. karn ke NDVO thodi fast chhe.
