Hello Fellows,

I would like to get some guidance and feedback as I am planing to apply for a Canadian TRV. I will give here a rundown of my case and then hopefully I can get some feedback on if I stand a chance. If not then I will need your feedback as how to proceed.

- Pakistani national/Age 65 years
-A retired divisional Health Director
- Family and kids are staying In Pakistan
- Have farms and residential property
- have a balance of US $12000
I had a wish to visit US and Canada since I was a freshman in my service. I only intend to visit for a month in Canada and may be a month in US. I do not have any relatives in either nation and nor I have an invitation. Please spare sometime to guide me along and give me your feedback as to whether I should apply or not.

Write a strong cover letter explaining reason for trip and include all possible ties and proof that you will return to Pakistan. This is the biggest hurdle to prove. Social connections to your community? With no employer, is there a respected community person or religious leader who can write a letter to vouch for your reliable character? Emphasize fact you are leaving your family behind and have no ties in Canada. Provide a full itinerary for your trip. Thank You so much for taking the time to respond and for your feedback as well. I will try to get a letter from Provincial Minister in Pakistan and from some other reputable persons.

I also suggest you look at all travel you have done in the past. Special focus on travel for holidays as this shows you have finances for holidays and are likely to be well established. Also shows history of returning home. Include proof of all visas you have obtained.
