Hello All,

i am new to this forum, i am in contact with an employer who is intrested to issue me work visa after successful interview and other stuff..i would want to know if there are any particular guidelines for employers to issue work visa for oversees people.

for ex. the company has to be legal and listed, how can they prove the Government that this guy is appropriate for our company and issue him the visa..i am very concerned since i am willing to come to Canada.

Regards

Which province? They can maybe use a PNP program to bring you in, it's about jobs where they need people so it's faster. If your job is not on their fast list, your employer has to get a labour market opinion, proving that he advertised your job and didn't find any Canadians or PR's willing or qualified to do it. When he has the LMO he needs to get your name on it before you can come over.

The homepage of the BC pnp is at http://www.ecdev.gov.bc.ca/programsandservices/pnp/index.htm
The PNP (provincial nominee program) allows each province to set it's one rules on who they want to bring in. They can fast-track people who already have a job offer and are in a profession where there is a shortage of people.
