Guidance on Indian PCC for express entry

I have received the ITA on 9th Nov 2022. I have applied for PCC (India) through BLS (5th Nov 2022) which is still in process. But now I have to travel to India between 2nd Dec 2022 and 27th Dec 2022.
As this is an important trip and one which I cannot afford to miss, will this travel affect my PCC process ?
I have planned to submit all my documents for my express entry upon my return.
My current work permit is valid until 1st of April 2023, please advise if I proceed with this travel and plan to submit the documents upon my return would I be asked to redo PCC and if asked to, would I be given additional time to submit the same ?
Thanks in advance!

This is the excerpt from IRCC guide here
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html

For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row.
Some countries put expiry dates on their police certificates. If you have a police certificate that expired, include it. We’ll accept it if:

  • it was issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row
  • it is not for the country where you currently live
An officer may ask for a new one later on.

In your case, you dont need to submit the police certificate again as you are not going to stay in India for more than 6 months.

Your short trip also will not affect your PCC from Indian or Canadian side unless you get in trouble with the law in India (which ofcourse you won't)

However bear in mind that the visa officer can use his discretion and ask for a PCC at any time during the application. In that event you will normally get 60 days to submit the PCC.
