Good day,

Need your kind guidance here please.. .I had my family members VISIT visa in process and i got SINP nomination and now i got ITA........

I had shown my account and my spouse account as proof of funds for TRV........ Now, I am showing ONLY my account as proof of funds for PR application...

will there be any issues ?

Also, please guide if i should send a webform and update the embassy processing family TRVs about about Nomination and intent to PR application? At time of application, I had mentioned that my SINP application was in process.

Lastly, to save time, we want to do ufpront medicals but the clininic says our UCI (the UCI that we have from our previous visit/study applications) are not enabled and can not accpet medicals... Is UCI a must for upfront medicals? or we can go to clinic, show ITA and passport and do the medicals?

@legalfalcon @scylla and other senior members please reply and help me............ am desperate and full of stress to be honest...... and lost money doing 3 consultations which were mere waste of time and money.

Yes, you can show the same account for different immigration purposes.

Yes, you can do your upfront medicals with AOR and your actual UCI.

Thanks so much @CanGoldDigger ........... really appreciate.
So, the upfront medicals should not be done after I get ITA but before I submit the PR application? Or i need to apply first, get the AOR and then submit the medicals by webform?

My thought was, do the upfront medicals and when am submitting the documents for the PR application, attach the medical sheet to the Medical exam section....

or am i wrong?

Yes, you can do that if you have your UCI.

Ah ok got it.

But when my family and i applied for visit visas etc before, we have the UCI. However, the medical officer says these UCIs are not enabled and medicals can not be attached to them.....am so confused how things work...

Also, if we want to do the upfront medicals after ITA but before sumitting the application, can we do the upfront medicals just with Passport and ITA letter? has anyone done it.....we are actually trying our best to save time by doing upfront as the work permit will expire while PR will be in process...and i cant extend the work permit

But it won't really expedite your processing time. You might even need to do a re-medicals for various reasons eventually.
At least it will save the time the officer will assess the file,,,generate medical request and then we go do it and submit and the officer reviews it again...just my imagination...
but again, anyone here who did their medicals between ITA and eAPR ? Please respond.

You can always extend your WP with BOWP while your PR application is being processed.
I wish I could...my nomination is employer restricted...employer is not ready to do the employer compliance part to apply for the lmia exempt closed work permt...so end of this year, if my PR does not come, i will be out of the PR process.... maybe a fake pgwp extension give me a month or three...but I cant rest much on that ......i might get it refused in a day or two...... so doing all my best to make sure my application gets fast processing

I don't quite get it. Why can't you apply for BOWP while your PR application is being processed?

Bridging open work permit for permanent residence applicants

because i am nominated by province..saskachewan nominee......and my nomination is employer restricted...means, i need to apply for closed workpermit T13 lmia exempt......but employer not supporting

I badly wish i could apply for bowp....that would have taken all the tension away......but i cant.......i can apply a fake bowp to gain some time but that is a last resort.

You should have your answers to query related to medicals - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html

I am not sure why are you so eager to do an upfront medical exam when IRCC clearly has stated that they will inform when medicals are needed. There is no evidence to show that upfront medicals expedites the application timelines.

Further, the page has this line - if you don’t follow these instructions, we may refuse your application.
