Hi friends,
I am Sarang from India. Please suggest me on my case. Please read it thoroughly because it's a bit complicated.

I went to canada(Toronto) in January 2012 batch in George Brown College with Post Graduate Certificate in International Business Management.
It was about to finish in August 2012 as it was 8 months course. In the last week of June, I had to come back to India because of sudden demise of my father. I was not able to come back to canada due to my family conditions. But in December I made up my mind that I should go back and Applied for my Study visa again to complete my leftover course. I got my visa for January till May 2013.

But, Due to the circumstances, I was not able to go back again. But now, I again want o go for May semester. Should I apply for visa or I can go in this visa also because it is still available till May 2013.?
What do you guys suggest me?

its more than 8 months u did not attend the college, may be they had withdrawn you from course and reported to Canada High Commission.............i suggest you to write email to college and tell them any reason to stay in India like sickness etc, after getting their response you may travel on same study permit........

I have talked to college, they're ready to re admit me to college to complete my course from where I left it. All I have to take the letter from the college that I am re admitted and apply for study visa.

Now my question is, the visa I already have i.e January 2013 - May 2013. Can I go on this visa or do I have to apply for a new one?
And if I apply for a new one, What are the chances for getting the visa? Because it's the third time :/
 
Hi Punjabi Munda,

This is a nice question. I think better you go by yourself to canadian embassy and talk in person to clear the things its so simple they will guide you in this regard. Don't just go on the same visa.... just ask them before!!

Das te dita aye... Its purly related to immigration so don't be scared... you can go to CHC and give ur college letter of re admission to them... !! it will be better .. rather you reach there and immigration people stop u....!!! so its better to clear things here!!! otherwise u can aply for another visa... in any case you have to apply either for extension or all togather new!!

Buddy, I haven't applied for re-admission yet,
Should I apply for readmission then ask the Canadian Embassy or just go and tell them that I have talked to my college and they are ready to re admit me to complete the course.
What do you say?

What I suggest you Talk to your college to send you a letter of Re admission... once you get it you go to the CHC office ask them... you were sick and was not able to attend the term but your visa is valid and you are allowed to join the previous term which u could not attend due to some reasons....!!! give solid reasons... Ask them like you can extend your visa here or you can extend it there because your term will end on ......... this date.... whaever date is..... if they said we need a letter from college you can submit them straight away....!!! first you do your home work with college.. if they said its ok you can go and extend your visa while you there!!

1.if they are giving you letter for re-admission then in my view you have to re-apply for visa

2. if the college has not reported to Canada High Commission for your absence then your visa may be valid and you might present any sickness letter etc

3. if they reported then it might be problem for you to travel on same visa

Important : first you do your home work with college..............................
