Depends in your skill level and Canadian experience. You will be considered as a recent graduate. Also your education means little or nothing. I would say it is quite simple to get a job.

Hello Suji1234, Welcome to forum - Unfortunately I do not have any network in the filed of sourcing and procurement. Hoping some members here from the field can shed some light on this. From what I know in my network IT Job is booming both in Canada and USA - Please do let me know if you have any other questions - All the best with your PR process.

Hello

I don't know about these topics. I've not applied to Canadian IT Recruiting agency neither Skilled Labour. Do you know any agencies you can recommend to me?? I am new on this. Thank you.

Any CV is good, I have seen lots of formats and as long as your Canadian experience is solid your CV format is not important. If you don't have any Canadian Experience then you count as a recent graduate and shouldn't worry about it.

Anyway if you still want to get a Canadian CV format google it there are tons of examples out there.

Hi - I would strongly recommend to take a look at the CIC website for information about how to apply as a skilled immigrant first. Go through the requirements and check list and then move on to the job hunt. Its pointless to hunt for job if you dont know what you need to get in first.

Thank you impresso for your reply. When you say "skilled immigrant" you mean whether I need to know more about how to apply for "federal skilled worker"? Is that the same?

Hello Everyone,

I myself migrated to Canada in 2006, and since been working in the IT industry and currently work for VMware. Understand that getting a job here could be little painful - but I am more that happy to share my views and guidance to help anyone out. If you have any questions - please do let me know.

Looking forward to you sharing some experience.

Hii ,

Me and my husband also working in IT industry a MNC, having around 4.8 yrs of experience. I am into Automation Testing (QTP, Selenium) and my husband into performance( Load runner, Silk performer). We have just started the PR process for Canada and going to file application soon. Well, my plans are after getting PR, applying jobs from India. But, after reading some of the posts, looks like it is not easy to look for jobs while being in India. The thing is we dont want to quit the current job as it would be very risky. That day i spoke to a guy who recently immigrated to Canada. He said , since we work in a MNC, we can ask the company to transfer us to their branch in Canada. Is this possible?
