Guatemalan medicals go where?

I never sent any police certificate when I first filed the application, which was in september 2010 in march 2011 they requested for my husbands passport, rcmp, criminal record from costa rica, $400 ARC fee, and I sent everything march 18 2011 and since then havent heard from them as well hy husbands medicals expire in august and his criminal record for costa rica is only valid for 3 months which is already expired, am thinking they are going to request a new criminal record ( costa rica) and for him to re-do his medicals, but who knows as well I payed everything except for the $400 ARC I payed that in march 2011 when they requested

Hey aneysar ya I did I couldnt do it on my own lol we are doing outland and my husband is here in CR and I am here with him since that day which was in november and here we are still together waiting for some good news soon what is your timeline ?

alex121, i'm just starting the application process. Sent our package last friday, should arrive in Mississauga tomorrow, I hope

me & husband are sitting this out in El Salvador, we're still pretty green into this, so we must have a ton of patience.

The processing office can download the medical results in about 4 weeks.

This is very interesting information. I am glad someone brought up this discussion so we all know that our medical results don't always get forwarded to the Visa Office processing our application. Thanks

so it takes around 4 weeks after medicals are sent to trinidad en tobago?? Cuz i know 2 cases of people from my country who did their medicals waay after me ( i completed them July 4th and DMP office informed me they sent the results on july 21st to trinidad and tobago) anyways, these 2 people did their medicals about 2-3 weeks after me and they already got their passport request and i havent! why is this? i thought it was like "first in first out" thing.

What should i do?? i emailed VO and they didnt reply back, im assuming they havent received medicals yet, but medicals have been in trinidad for about 2 weeks now and its been a month since i re-did them.

Hey lillyvb I got passport request in febuary and yesterday they called me to ask if my hubby can leave by august 10 and I said no because its soo lil time so they said we are going to send medical forms so he can redo them once we recieve them we will issue the visa so just becasue they ask u for it doesnt mean u will get passport request right away it depends on the case and immigration officer hope u get news soon

my visa office doesnt work the same way as guatemala office... the only thing in common between guatemala visa office and my local visa office is that medicals results of applicants of both offices are send to the regional medical office in trinidad and tobago.

I think i didnt make my question clear, i was asking how long it takes to visa office to get results from the regional medical office in trinidad, cuz PMM previously posted saying it takes about 4 weeks and it's been 4 weeks since i did my medicals and 2 weeks since my DMP sent out the results to trinidad and tobago so i was wondering why some people from my country got their passport request if they did medicals 2-3 weeks after me.

sorry I didnt get your answer, thank you for clarifying, maybe your in line and its taking awhile for them to get to ur case be patient or maybe there are other issues the vo needs to take care of before asking for passport request, But honestly I wouldnt be able to help you all I can say is be patient your time will come soon

thank you!! my concern was why i was last when i did my medicals first, but anyways a week of difference wont kill me now that i have a date for sure CIC works in very mysterious ways lol
