hello, we want to sponsor our brother who's a refugee claim in Croatia( his claim was denied over there, but still remain there).

We live in Canada, 3 brothers & our mom here. What are the required documents to submit with the application besides showing financial proof?

Has he been officially recognized as a refugee by UNHCR or by the state of the country where he is residing?

He lives in a refugee camp, not recognized as a refugee by the UNHCR.

In order for it to be possible for you to sponsor him through the Group of Five stream, he must first either be formally recognized as a refugee by UNHCR or must have refugee status from Croatia. It sounds like the second option is out since his claim has been refused. So he needs to get i touch with UNHCR.

How long does the process take?
How much approximately should the 5 sponsors have to sponsor a 30 year old man?
- He has a card that shows that he's seeking protection in Croatia, is that good to proof that he's a refugee there??

Processing time will be around 2-3 years.
I believe you need to show around $15K for one person. Of course more is always better.
I don't know if the card he has is sufficient. Again, he needs to be officially recognized by UNHCR or the state/government as a refugee.

15k from all 5 sponsors? Bank statement from ALL the five sponsors must show a total of 15k you mean?

No around 15k in a separate account dedicated to funding the sponsorship holder when they arrive in Canada. The exact figure is something else. There are formal applications you should be reading if you are looking at sponsoring.

I assume you are likely recent Syrian refugees yourselves. You have to submit tax returns, bank statements, etc. showing where the money to sponsor a family member is coming from and that you do have the extra money. Most recent refugees are not in the position to have a lot of extra savings and be approved as sponsors.

No, we are not Syrian refugees. We've been in Canada for about six years now.

I guess Group of 5 is not possible for his case since he doesn't have a letter from the UN or approval from Croatia.

No. For SAH he still needs to be either recognized by UNHCR or the state/government. This is a requirement of both programs.
