hi There. I just would like to ask if someone here knows about the specific medical exams to be undertaken for Visa under Family Sponsorship? I really wanna know so that we can be prepared in any circumstances that may rise during the said exams.

another question: Is hernia (inguinal) grounds for rejection? I know these questions are yet to be answered because maybe the decision lies on the perception of the panel/processor of the application. I have a cousin together with his family who have been nominated also in PNP. and his son (19y/o) has hernia. Im just asking maybe by any chance someone has the same experience here. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Godbless :)

:D All is WELL :D

The hernia should not be a problem as they are fairly common and easily repaired if necessary. Under the family class stream, medical reasons for rejection are those problems that would put undue stress on the medical system and those diseases/disorders which are a threat to the public. This type of hernia is neither, in my opinion.

The medical exam includes general assessment of health and medical history, blood pressure, blood work (I think) and a chest x-ray to screen for tuberculosis.

Thank you very much for your reply AllisonVSC.. hehehe This would help me and my family in the succeeding parts of the process. :) Godbless
