I am not at all thinking about GRE!!! Just IELTS!!!!

Do I need GRE for Study permit, admission in Ontario, Canada????? Really?????? ???

Not always....I didn't appeared in any GRE....even if you are unable to score upto the mark in IELTS ..you can manage by getting registered in English language course and than proceeding further towards your desired course of study..,system helps students to manage and study here right anywhere else in the world....Best of Luck!

It depends on the school and/or department. For instance, MEng at McGill for ECE specifically says GRE is mandatory for all applicants who did not graduate from a school within Canada. On the other hand, MEng at University of Alberta doesn't require GRE scores at all. You can look through the admission requirements for the specific department of the university that you want to get into.

I guess its all about giving a good impression and having better chances if you have GRE with a good score and its only going to matter for universities which are at the top-notch, considering UBC, McGill, ualberta etc. As for other universities it doesnt matter at all.

I have got acceptance at Dalhousie without the GRE. But I'm not going there and would take my chances on UBC & McGill. But for that, I am definitely going to take GRE first.

P.S GRE is applicable for graduate studies only

Usually GRE is required for business students not science but u should check ur university website for perquisites,,

Thankssssssssssss all, I have checked requirements for universoties and don't says I need to have GRE!!!! I want to go for degree in Education in Ontario most probably!!!

But here I saw GRE is must for studying in Canada so got confused!!!! Thank you!!!! 8)
