My study permit and visa expires on September 30. I thought I could apply for PGWP before that but because of the strike that is going on now, I'm a bit concerned. I applied for extension of my study permit last week. So here is my question,
What would happen if the application for study permit extension is declined( I know that will take atleast 2 months, but still) and I am not able to apply for PGWP, by Sep 30. I would not have a valid study permit then.

What strike? If you're referring to the Canada Post strike, that ended a long time ago.

No I'm talking about the staff strike at the college. I cant apply for graduation untill my marks are entered by the staff who are on strike.

One more thing. Will there be any problem if I apply for my PGWP when the decision for the application for my study permit extension has not yet been made?
