Graduating and applying for PGWP. Can my wife apply for OWP at the same time?

I have been in Canada for about 7 years as an international student. I am done with my studies and I will have an official document to send over to CIC within a week. I will apply for my PGWP.
I recently got married and my wife is currently living back home, in Bulgaria.

She is going to apply for an OWP as soon as I receive my PGWP, because I will be working in skill group A, B or 0 and we meet all the requirements.

My question is: Should I check the option "Submit an application for a family member" when I apply for my PGWP and apply for my wife's OWP all in one application?
Or should I apply for my permit, then wait to receive it and then send it over to her, so she can apply on her own?

What would give us a better chance of receiving it quickly?

Thank you very much for your help and support.

PGWP are usually processed in Canada (specifically Vegreville) and in your case your spouse is in Bulgaria. So technically you cannot add your spouse to your application as they are two different visa application offices. Also your spouse qualifies for OWP ONLY when you attached a recent payslip(s) and PGWP as support to spouse's application, but currently your situation is that you don't have PGWP and payslip. If I were in your situation I will first wait for my PWGP then attached it with recent pay stubs and send it to spouse to apply in his/her home country.

A friend of mine wanted to do same thing but he was told once they are not in the same country so they can't apply together because each visa office has its own criteria of evaluating permits.

Thank you for your advice. I will wait until I get my PGWP and give my payslips.
I have worked part time while I was in school. So my payslips are for around 1000 each month. I will be working full time from April 20.
Would it be enough and OK if I showed my latest payslip (for the month of may, full salary)? Or should I include my old ones as well?
In my employment letter it states my yearly salary from now on.

Thank you.

You have to use your recent payslips

I am in a similar situation.
I will try to keep it short though it's complex...

What are the chances of approval of my OWP if applied TOGETHER with my spouse's PGWP?

My situation:
Current in Canada on OWP corresponding to spouse's study permit which expires on Sep 30, 2015.
I have a job as a Systems Analyst. My employer wants to keep me with them at least till June 30, 2016 provided I have the requisite validity of work permit (which currently is only till Sep 30, 2015).

My spouse (husband)'s situation:
Currently in Canada on study permit (and co-op work permit) and is completing his co-op which ends on Jun 26, 2015 (either permit valid till Sep 30, 2015 as stated before).
He currently does not have any job lined up after finishing co-op on Jun 26, 2015.

What we intend to do is apply for my OWP TOGETHER with my spouse's PGWP application.
This is possible in myCIC portal as the option for application of my OWP TOGETHER with my spouse's PGWP application is displayed, if you answer all the questions the portal asks correctly.

What we don't know is whether my OWP in this scenario will be approved or not.
Do any you have gone through similar situations or know some of your friends who have gone through this scenario?
Do any one of you know for certain whether my OWP application be approved or rejected?

Hi!
I am in the similar situation, my OWP will expire in 2 months and my wife needs aplly to get her PGWP (she finished her college 1 month ago) but she does not have a job offer yet.

If my wife apply without a job offer into NOC (0, A or B) she will get a PGWP and I will lose my OWP.

My question is: Should my wife get a job offer in those NOCs as a Permanent Full Time or Contracor or Just Permanet job is valid?

Thanks.

The requirements are pretty clear here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who.asp

From the above source:
Note: If you have an open work permit (e.g. post-graduation work permit, International Experience Canada, et cetera) your spouse must attach a copy of your work permit to their application for an open work permit, along with a:

letter from your current employer that confirms you work there in a NOC 0, A or B occupation, or a copy of your employment offer or contract, and
copy of your recent pay slips.
Your spouse’s permit will not be valid longer than yours.
