Graduated already but study permit expired

I done my study on 13 dec
My study permit expired on 31 dec
Now i got my all documents from whatever i need to apply pgwp but still i need study permit ?
And can anyone explain status restoration is going with pgwp ?

You don’t need a new study permit. According to new rules posted on cic, you are able to apply for a pgwp 180 days after your final grades are posted. Your study permit should have been valid at some point of time during those 180 days in order to be able to apply for pgwp. You stated that your permit expired on 31 dec so you can still apply for pgwp using the expired study permit. You dont have valid status in Canada, while it is true a study permit is not required to apply for pgwp you DO need to have valid status, so you should have switched to visitor before permit expiry.

Now you need to restore to visitor and apply pgwp, I would talk to immigration advisor at school on how to do this.
Also I believe this means you cant work until you actually get PGWP.

Talk to the immigration officer at the international students office at your school as mentioned above.
