Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management

Hi guys,

I'm a BSc (major: Biotechnology) graduate from India with 6 years of work experience in social media marketing and Search Engine Marketing.

- I'm planning to apply for a Graduate certificate program in Marketing Management for Winter 2017. Does anyone have any idea whether this course will negatively affect my chances of getting a study permit?

- My other option is a graduate certificate in Digital Marketing but I heard that study permits tend to get declined for this course. Any info on this too will be helpful.

Why not go for 2 year PGD if applying for SPP or otherwise Master's. Graduate certificate seems bit dicey

Would also add that CIC may look at the previous degree subject not being related to the proposed course regardless of work experience so would likely need a solid case.

Agree completely on that. A strong SOP weighing in experience related to what he wants to pursue, maybe.
