Hello,

I would like to know how does the post graduate certificate compares to other equivalent programs globally? For instance, I read somewhere that this program is equivalent to UK Masters, however I find that hard to believe since a lot of the post graduate programs are for 8 months. The reason I ask is because I would like to pursue a Master's degree however it seems most masters degrees in CA are 2 years long whereas I would ideally like to finish mine within a year.

Also, I'm guessng that the post graduate certificate would be eligible for the CEC visa later on?

Thanks and Regards

well PG cert program is not comparable to masters. Masters is far better. also u need to read about express entry now CEC is under express entry . one year program will give ur 1 year PGWP(work permit) and a 2 year program will give u 3 years PGWP. 1 year work permit is risky if u ultimately plan to apply for PR in canada. CEC requires 1 year canadian experience so if u get 1 year PGWP and u add time to find a job say 6 months u will only be abe to get 6 months canadian experience.
