Can govt bonds be included in POF ??

Seniors,

Please provide your input. I am including following documents in reply to the request for pcc, medical and RPRF. Am I missing anything?

1. Medical receipt from the doctor
2. PCC from USA
3. PCC from India
4. RPRF receipt

Also, do I need to write application number on the mailing package? I have written application number on a paper inside the package. Shall I include the email received from CIC for the requested documents?

Government bonds are ok for POF assuming they can be liquidated (sold) whenever you wish. Only their cash value is valid for POF.

Whatever you use for POF must be in your name or your spouse's name, NOT in any other person's name and NOT joint holders with any other person other than your spouse.

Govt bonds are usually not on anyone's name as they can be bought from bank by anyone having money so How am i going to prove if they are on my name

Yes , but must be endorsed in your or your spouse or your accompanying childrens name

unless they are not in your name , it will not be accepted.

I must say that you are wasting forum resources - Instructions from CIC are clear. If you wish to test waters go ahead
