got visa need some advised

hay all of friends,
i got visa as a temporary resident visitor.my wife got visa as a student for two and half year.we travel with one child.
need some verifications.
1. my and my child visa only for 6 months. after that can i apply for open work permit with wife study permit. she doing full time master degree.and what is the case with my daughter .she need to apply for extent her visitor visa.inst it?
2. i showed my fixed deposit near 80 lak for visa .so when i am at port of entry how much money need to show as a proof of founds. all deposit bank in my home country. so are they accept that fixed deposit certificate(true copy) or (photocopy of true copy) or original copy. or need to show them cash money.

as a family how mush cash i must show to them at port of entry. at the moments i don't have too much money. can manage around 2000 Canada dollars. is it enough for showing money to them

are they ask any question regarding our fixed deposits in home country. such as how you get money from those fixed deposits like wise..

pls tel your ideas next week i planed to fly with my familly

Am in india, as of my knowledge i here by given bellow your answers.. but senoirs and who r alrdy in canada may correct the same

1.Yes you can apply OPW, n your kid extend TRV as well depends your primary (wife) validity.
2.if you've showed 80L, still its required since your are getting as family @ POE, Show the evidence of certificate(original) either bank statement or deposit, you can carry max $10000*3( seniors pls correct) cash if u wish, otherwise small amount like 2000-5000$ enough for u three, try to get travelers cheque, and gry for GIC or open bank account international bank like HSBC. wire transfer the amounts for your living exp...
3.@POE they wont ask much abt finance rather than LOA and VISA deals, jus b safer side have cash n docs which mentioned above..

To make this move faster for you,apply for work permit at the port of entry just as you are landing its easier and faster such that by the time you are being cleared,they also issue you with your workpermit there and there...I know of a friend who did the same.

thank you very much Habil , that is interesting, so at the entry you mean open work permit is it? so what i need to fill there and with documents need to attached for the application and can you expansion how procedure going on.i am interesting about that

can i directly ask from immigration officer to make open work permit to me
