Ammar,

1- You're probably getting the best price ever for this season. I got my ticket for 84.5K and Shahzad got his for 80K. So I say BUY THE DAMN TICKET RIGHT NOW !!!

2- Don't confuse yourself with visa and study permit. You will be issued study permit when you arrive at the airport and the visa only entitles you to enter Canada. So technically you can postpone you entry into Canada as long as your course has a May intake. Hence when you arrive at Canadian port of entry you'll explain to the Immigration Officials that because you had a choice therefore you chose to start the course at a later stage, I'm sure they'll understand and hopefully issue you a study permit without any hassle. However if you're unsure about course start dates or think that you'll struggle to explain things to the immigration officer, don't push it too far and fly to Canada on the next available flight.

Cheers ;-)

Well if the immigration officer doesn't ask you when your course is finishing the possibility for you getting study permit for 1.5 year is quite high. However if you mention it yourself or he thoroughly checks your LoA then surely you'll get study permit for only 1 year and you might have to extend it before 2 months of its expiry date. To qualify for PGWP you MUST complete the course first, and yes if your course duration is 1 year you'll be entitled to apply for 1 year PGWP upon graduation. Usually your study permit doesn't bound you to a specific instituition or course of study so Yes you can study 1 year masters program but you always have to study two consecutive terms i.e you can only drop either first or last term if you have 18 months study permit.

Cheers ;-)
