Got visa, but where is study permit???!! Help!!!

I have got my visa on the 30th of July, but I don't have the letter of introduction yet! Where or when am I gonna get it!?! My flight is on the 22nd of August, please help me!

Contact VFS/CHC they can only issue you LOI

Well though ideally what is required at POE is passport (visa stamped), letter of acceptance (from college) and Letter of introduction which you receive with passport. As in this particular case, you do not have LOI, if you have received an email, you can take a print out and assuming all odds in your favor, then still you needn't worry. Letter of Acceptance from college and passport will let you in.

But yes it's wise to send an email query to embassy CHC regarding this. However, if you don't get a revert, do not panic, it's not that important and they won't send you back.

Hi there,

Yes I usually receive this letter of intersection with my passport and the new visa together, though this time the agent said that CIC will send it through email instead. It's been 14 days now and I got no email from them. I read in the CIC website about it saying that I need this letter to enter, and it is usually sent by email within 24 hours after approval. This what upsets me.
The question here, are you absolutely sure that if I don't have it before my flight date my letter of acceptance from university and student visa and valid passport are enough? If so, how can I trust that? :/

Understand one thing, plain and simple, it's them who issued you the visa, it's them who will grant you the study permit at POE, it's their very own system. In fact, it's a failure at their end by not being able to deliver you LOI, not your problem at all. That's why I said, send them an email regarding the same and take a print out of the same showing you sent them an email as well and didn't receive any revert when you reach at POE (in case LOI is being asked for). You are playing safe this way, aren't you?

Rest, what I said in PM, is more than enough for you to be relaxed and pack your bags.

Yeah I thought of that to, but I couldn't stop thinking that my application was missing a document or my email was incorrect, but everything was perfect! this is my 4th time going to canada for school as I was in Saudi for my yearly vacation for july and august. I'm only renewing my applications now. Plus their strike action didn't make my problem any better.
