Got Visa approved under SPP for April Intake today

Hi All,

I got my visa approved today under SPP
I had submitted my application on the 8th to VFS Bangalore, my passport is in transit

My Profile: Msc. Nursing + 3 year experience (clinical & Teaching),IELTS 7.5 (no band less than 6.5)
All documents as per SPP Check list (including GIC and First Year Fee)
My and my spouses employment letter and recent pay slip
Employment letter and payslip of my brother
Fathers pension and PF proof (along with retirement proof
Affidavit for property

how did you know u got approved your visa.... your passport is in transit naa.... did they email you..?

I applied on 4th march 2013 but did not get any update.. applied at vfs hyderabad

hi could u plz tell that in spp is there a need to attach affidavit for property and employment letter or sop also like these doc.bcoz in spp checklist they don't show these things????plz rep....

Documents other than SPP checklist need not be submitted. In fact, CHC advises not to provide other documents unless asked for. and

@Sarkis, Congratulations.

The affidavit and other documents were added extra to give strength to my application, i guss it worked..never the less these extra documents are not mandatory, for me it turned positively ...may not be the case for every one.

i believe additional documents may be added according to individual cases

@ Sarkis, actually the introduction of SPP is to reduce paper work and to ensure genuine candidates. So under SPP when you purchase GIC which covers your living cost for 1 year and you already have paid your tuition fee, they do not need further documents. What you mentioned is for general category cases where they opt for bank loan or show their own funds. And indeed in general category, these documents add a value to your application. However, as far as SPP is concerned, if one completes the checklist, that's all they need.

Your right as per the checklist..i do agree no argument there

but i will stick to my opinion, if you are mentioning work experience i fee that something to substantiate your claims wont hurt, by that i am not referring to extensive paper work.
As i said before it did help me i should think!

may be fresh out of college applicants cant go wrong with just following the check list
