Got Visa Approval But no Letter

Just came to know CIC is no more Providing any student permit letters or introduction letters, just the visa stamp.

I got my passport with my new visa this week
and there is no Study permit letter
and my flight is in next week and no response from the embassy till now

I guess the visa officer will find out there several people didn't get the study permit letter

Now study permit is being issued to you at the arrival, it can be on the airport by a visa officer, or after that. will find out when and how it is provided in few days, but i am now sure of this that study permit is being provided on your arrival. actually it has been like this for one and half year now that they provide you study permit on arrival.

True, but when you arrive you should have the intro letter to show it

It has the reference number for your new study permit that was approved from the embassy

So when where and how do i get this intro letter.

By reference number, do you mean UCI number?

I am really concerned if I whether need the LOI or not?

Does anyone have received the study permit without a LOI at the POE?

i got my passport request msg today thru cic, but dey didnt make it clear if my study permit has been approved or not. how do i knw? also i hv da same query regarding LOI? anybody received the LOI? Wat will shw the VO at POE?

As I've researched, if they requested your passport, your study permit has been approved. Congrats!

Regarding the Letter of Introduction, it is not clear for me what is going on. Is there anyone with experience about this?

in the email it must be mentioned.....go to ur nearest VFS with email printout and passport

I got my letter today!

In my case, I had to email to los-angeles-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca and they just replied in a matter of minutes with a solution. The just sent a new message to mycic account with the letter attached.

Either way, the POE Letter of Introduction is still needed to receive a study permit at the border.

My visa Office is in different country is it ok to send an Email to a different office?
