got the passport submission letter but still in trouble.advice needed :)

Hello All,

Today I got passport submission letter from CIC and I know it is a positive sign.However,there is an issue.Two days back I also applied for Hungarian Visa and appeared for interview.My application is being processed there but I requested back my Passport and they returned it to me with a stamp saying D type Visa applied ,Date .Now tomorrow I'm going to submit my passport to CIC. would this new stamp make my application suspicious and Should I submit a page of explanation about this stamp?

No there is no issue with the stamp. You can submit it without any reservation. Good luck for your studies

Hey!

Congrats! Don't worry, now that you have received the passport submission letter, your passport will go straight to the department which stamps the Visa. You will not be judged any more on your documents. You are ok to send in your Passport.

Now comes the hard part are you gonna go ahead with the Hungarian Visa too? Because if you are not they you probably should withdraw your application "AFTER" you get your passport back from the CIC. By that time, if the Hungarian embassy decides to give you the visa, what are you gonna do?

LOL.... now you will be in trouble of having too much VISA!

I will most probably go for Canada and withdraw my Hungarian Visa Application.Even if I get hungarian I might not send for stamping because it would take some time while I have to reach Canada early.

Hey John,

Good news! I got the passport request letter too today. (11th August). However I am still awaiting on another student visa for my wife, I will not send my visa for stamping until I get a result for hers maybe. Just praying that she gets her visa too, otherwise I might have to re-think my decision.
