got the passport request from singapore office today

hi guys..first of all cheers to u guys for helping me so far with my application process. today i got a letter from singapore office asking me to send the passport along with two passport size photos within next 30 days. but in the letter it says its not a guarantee that i will get the visa so i was wondering what are the steps the immi officer s gonna take after they receive my passport and how long does it take for them to grant a visa if they do. thank u

Theyre right, its not a guarantee you will get the visa. Ive seen a few people get interview letter after passport request. All you can do is simply wait for their decision

hi regarding my timeline:


1.We received application for permanent residence on March 23, 2015.
2.Medical results have been received.

it still shows on ecas in process. my question is do they request for passport after they are happy with background check or b4 that.

hi guys..as i already mentioned i got ppr on 19th Aug and today just now when i was checking my Ecas discovered the status changed to "decision made" . does that mean my pr application has been successfully approved? pls guys if u have anything that can help me have a btter understanding of the situation then let me know. thank u

guys today while tracking my application on vfs website..it says they already sent the decision to my local vfs office..since i live in bangladesh and friday and saturdays are public holiday i m expecting it 2moro when they open..but i m freaking out thinking its too early.. cos they received my passport on 27th august and they already posted it on 2nd september.its merely a week..has anyone here got their passport back that quick with visa? pls let me know . thank u

I am also from bangladesh waiting for ppr
Our ecas changed decision made on last 30th
July but no ppr or no contact from sgvo.don't
Know what happen in our file ?
SGVO received our file on last 31st march2015.
Can you suggest me as senior member what we should do ?

Congrats! I think you will get your passport with COPR. Maybe now they started to get everything done quickly..
I sent my passport on 2nd of sept and on vsf website it said that it's being process now. My e-cas already change to DM on the same day they sent PPR. Hopefully mine is as quick as yours. Let's keep praying.

Medical done.........8th july 2015
Decision has been made on pr application on 30th july 2015.
Passed 35 days no pp request yet .
Now we are playing & waiting for passport request game.
