Got the email that I have met the requirements as a sponsor!!!!

Hi everyone!,,

I got the email today that I have met the requirements to sponsor my husband. He lives in Michigan, us

It also says that the application has been sent to Ottawa. Accidentally when submitting the application we sent the police clearance instead of FBI ..

My husband just got the fbi clearance in the mail as we ended up filing for it... Should I send it to Ottawa or wait for them to ask?.

Any other advice to Expediate the Ottawa office... Thanks everyone and good luck!,,

As the FBI clearance is only valid for 3 months after it has been issued, and if you don't send it to CIC before the 3 months are up, you will have to get a new one, I think it's best to send it to Ottawa. Since you have your file number and UCI, just make sure you specifies those in your letter, and it will be added to the file. As it will be received by CIC within 3 months of being issued, it will be OK when the finally open your file. If you wait for then to ask for it, and it ends up being more than 3 months before they ask, you'll have to get a new one.
