Hi, I applied for a Post Graduate Diploma which had a length of 1 year from a University. But I got a visa refusal this is the reason they mentioned.

  • Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself.
  • You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
  • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.
Do you think the main reason is the financial situation? How to resolve points 2-3? what does point 3 really mean? and how to overcome that. Are these objections normal? If I can show I have more than enough funds can I get the visa?

What are the chances of Re-visa approval rates?

Order GCMS notes to see the detailed comments from the VO for your refusal. They might take a couple of months to arrive but they should give you a clearer idea on how to address each of the reasons.

Order GCMS notes but seems you didn’t show sufficient funds. Point 3 can mean anything but usually means IRCC doesn’t believe you are a genuine student (trying to study to get PR, for example).

How much family do you have in Canada? What about in your home country?
