Got Student Visa- General Applicant- Only in 11 days!

thanks GS. I will keep your advice in mind while filing my visa appn. My father is retired and since he opted for PF option he is not also getting monthly pension. Do you think if it would be any problem or something if i can do different? please advise.

@ Gs... is there anyway to speed up ur visa process... did u do something special for that.. its been 4 months exactly that i have submitted my application and i havent got it yet.. got medical on 24 march afer applying on 7th feb but still waiting.. i have mailed and faxed them so many times but useless.. i am from Pakistan.. Can u suggest something man???

Hi Afridi,

If everybody around you is getting visa in a specific timeframe, and you are not, then you can do something about it. The problem is in your application.

However, if everybody is waiting for the visa, then the problem is in the system (Visa Processing) and not in your application.

We can't interfere in the Visa processing so patience is the only thing you can have right now. Don't worry, CHC Pak seems to be active recently and a number of people were allotted visa.

Just have more patience (I know how hard it is to wait for the visa but good things comes only after a wait).

I applied my visa on 3rd with CHC-chandigarh for post graduation certificate in global business management with 7 bands in IELTS. I have 2.2 year work experience in Nokia , R&D centre ,Bengaluru as software engineer. Is it going to have any effect on file or not ?

I'm so happy today! Seems like everything is beautiful, clear and calm everywhere around me.

Today I received my study Visa. Humble thanks to everybody who had contributed to this forum currently, or in the past.

It was the information I received in this forum that made me successful. I have nobody in Canada as a relative or friend, and I decided not to use any consultant for my Visa.

The information I got from this forum made all the difference between success and failure. I had 8 years of gap in my full time studies, I applied as a General candidate, with no study loan and even then the processing took just 2 weeks.

I'm also grateful to CHC New Delhi for conducting a superb seminar, and then allocating me visa in less than 2 weeks (as a general application, with no study loan, gng for a community college).

I wish luck to everybody on this forum. May God help you in getting the visa soon.

Here are my timelines and details:

CHC: New Delhi

Category: General

Study Loan: None

IELTS: Band 8

Funds: 30% maintained over past few months, 70% added one week before visa application. Main source is salary.

Study Type: Post graduate Certificate of One Year, Seneca @ York

Previous Education: B.E and MS

Medical Call Request 5 working days (excluding 1+1 day of transit from VFS at both ends)

Interview Waived

Visa after resubmission 6 working days (excluding 1+1 day of transit from VFS at both ends)

now it's in God's hands let's see what happens.
