The question of a correspondence letter on his SP refusal not found on the GC account after the AIP has not been answered yet... Isn’t the applicant supposed to get update on the GCkey account on his refusal??! Because all we saw there last on the GC account image was on the (15/08 AIP).. After that, NOTHING...

.
Please I come in Peace!!!

Me and most ppl here don't have AIP. The only way to confirm is by getting more proofs.
The rejection letter doesn't have name in BOLD fonts. That led me to doubt.
I asked for proof and most ppl submitted and that should have been the end of discussion.
I was wrong. You were right. But why do you still have to drag me in?
If it wasn't for what I said then most ppl wouldn't have confirmed that's it's true.

As I've told earlier this screen shot is old when he received his AIP...

So one of my friends from Pakistan got his AIP on 14 August and received refusal today 31 August. How can it be possible and one of the reasons was purpose of visit which is checked in eligibility stage so what the heck is going on IRCC gone nuts.
Complete application medical passed, biometrics done..
Applied for masters program at Windsor uni under sds.
Refusal

So this looks like complete chaos by IRCC, I'm guessing they'll revert back the second letter which might have sent to applicant due to internal mess-up.

THE AIP IS FAKE !!! DONT CONFUSE OTHER BY FAKE PROOF!

It is always bold but name should not be in all capital letter as i already got my AIP.
Mine has also bold and Capital letter.
We all should ask same question in next webinar and also on twitter.
Because now AIP means nothing than we should at least defer or apply for refund.

I still believe these guys are playing prank on everyone. Let’s all hope for the best on our application. We wish their imaginary friend the best!!!!

Here's another case from the PH:

Also deferred to Jan 2021 intake, informed IRCC, used webform to attach January LOA. Hmm....

@Kashif01 Has he deferred and updated LOA via webform recently, specially after AIP?

Yes he deffered to Jan 2021 after receiving AIP that can be the issue, so guys don't think of deferring and start your studies online.

Okay. Same situation with the other message posted. AIP is specifically for Fall 2020. If you defer it to Jan 2021, that make AIP and the processing that they have done useless.

I posted something similar few weeks back:

Congrats. Nice to see an update from Pakistan. Your program is of 2 years. I'd suggest to start online and then move to Canada when visa is stamped and you are allowed to enter.

I don't know, but looking at covid19 and current trends, I feel something will change in IRCC policies if students received AIP prior to fall 2020 session and had time to start session but still deferred to later term. I could be wrong but if they can introduce a temporary AIP, they can introduce something else in the future that may put many student in difficult position.
