This is not just a document submission issue. You failed to submit the required documents at the time of decision making. Your agent is rubbish and has got no idea how things work. Nothing will be done even if you submit new information.

In case you were a visa officer, would you believe if someone pops up with letter from xyz saying that abc is an accountant ?. You have blown up your case yourself.
Man I dont wanna take my agent's side. I know she is rubbish but to be honest canadian immigration is bu*lshit. This is not the way to reject application. I am in australia for the last 3 years and applied my own student visas and my friends student visas by myself, moreover I have seen thousands of my friends, uni mates, work mates getting rejection from australian immigration on big big issues like fraud documents but they are allowed to appeal to migration tribunal moreover australian case officers ask for additional documents till their last breath means till you tell them that you dont have such documents only then they reject your application. What kind of reason is this that your application is rejected because you didnt submit blah blah blah bu*lshit you should ask for it  what you getting paid for? to just put your bump on chair and decide youth's future? Sorry for my abusive language but seriously pis*ed off with the reply after waiting for 2 years and wasting 5 to 6 thousand AUD.

Hi To All!

A Friend of mine's application was also denied few days ago, they received a letter together with their submitted documents saying that the visa officer was not convinced that they can be economically established in Canada.

He is a Registered Nurse in the Philippines with more than 5 years of work experience, presently employed as a Nurse in Saudi, they received 61 points only, His wife did not graduated college that is why they did not get any points in adaptability, they do not have any relatives as well in Canada.

Based on his situation can he apply again under FSW if ever he gets an AEO as a Nurse?

Your response will be highly appreciated!

Thank you and God bless us all!

Dear shokototoy,

Sorry for the rejection, In order for your friend to immigrate to Canada s/he need to have 67 points. In terms of Canadian immigration a person is deemed able to economically establish in case s/he accumulates 67 points.

In real terms it is impossible to get an AEO in nursing as it a regulated profession and one needs to be licenced by canadian nursing authorities. Employers in this profession also look for canadian education or experience.

Have you posted some of your nursing specific questions on threads dealing specifically with nurses? You may find there are people who have already dealt with the same issues your friends questions now. Good Luck.

Pippin is right, please post your query in the nursing related threads as well. You can also ask senior members like Kanamen, mitali, and qorax sir.

In case you ask Mitali she will dig deep to find the answer. ;D ;D

As far as I remember last year a filipino nurse named "aspire" ,who was also working in saudi immigrated to Canada with an AEO.But she passed all the required examinations before. You can search her posts in the forum to get an exact idea.

Good luck!

Hi friends,

I have applied in Nov 2009. In Feb 2012 my online status change into decision made. In my rejection letter they said that,

"You have indicate that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC code: NOD 3112, General Practitioners and Family Physicians. Although the NOC code corresponds to an occupation specifies in the instructions, you have not demonstrated that you demonstrated that you have a minimum of one year of continues full-time or equivalent part time, paid work experience in the occupation in the last ten years.
Since you did not provide satisfactory evidence that you have work experience in any of the listed occupations, you do not meet the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions and you applications is not eligible for processing".

I mailed them for reconsideration but they send me an e-mail after 20 days: In that mail they said:

"Your application was carefully considered and you were provided with the decision containing the full reasons for refusing the applications and the file was closed on that day".

Kindly experts tell me is there any hope or nothing.

Dr. Paro: Did you have a minimum of 12 continuous full time months in medicine in the past 10 years? If not, there is nothing you can do until you have proof of that full year. I am quite sure that doctors will still be in the NOC list in July, so instead of trying to fight it, just get a solid application together. Make sure you have provided more than enough documentation to back up your duties, wages and duration, employer, etc. You've got a perfect amount of time to get the app ready before July. You might also want to order CAIPS notes immediately. They can take at least 5 weeks. Good Luck.

For an appeal to succeed, I think you need to show error on the part on the visa officer. You did not provide sufficient evidence of your claimed work experience which you also admit to not doing. The decision was based on what you gave them. Your best bet is to request re-consideration of your file in light of the additional supporting documents(tax returns, 6 months on-the-job training, etc) and submit it to the visa office then hope for the best.

Now my questions are:

1. Is there any option for me to appeal on this decision? If yes how much time I HAVE? what will be the procedure and what documents should I submit this time to be 100% sure?
2. Do I need to care about this sentence "It is not unlikely that a person off the High School would begin as an accountant immediately after getting the high school certificate without any training in accountancy"

Please reply urgently as I got this refusal on 15 march 2012 and its already 11 april 2012

Thanks
