Got PR...How long should we wait before getting married?

I had applied for my PR before I considered marriage. My application was approved and I recently landed. My gf and I have been talking about marriage but we are not in any hurry...anyone have an idea how long we should wait before getting married so I can sponsor her as a spouse without any issues?

As you said you are not in any hurry, take your own convenient time for a marriage. There is no prefferred waiting time to sponsor spouse.

well...you're right We're not in any hurry but we would still like to do it before I move to Canada permanently which I'm planning on doing by the end of this year. I'd like for us to be able to move there together if possible.

You don't have to wait at all as far as the application goes. If you're not in any hurry, waiting for a few months will be less suspicious than getting married right away, but either case would be workable.
But ... a PR has to be in Canada to sponsor a spouse, and stay in Canada during the sponsorship process, so you would have to wait until you moved here to sponsor her.
Warning: If you and your girlfriend were living together for a year or more, she will be considered your common-law spouse for the purposes of immigration. Since you didn't declare her on your application, you won't be able to sponsor her. If this is the case, don't admit on her application that you were living together.

I don't recall there being an option to file for your common law partner on the Skilled worker application though.
