Hello,
I really would appreciate if any expertise can suggest me on my situation. I have received passport request on Oct 07, 2013 (but PPR email says Oct 03, 2013) to submit all our passports (myself, my wife and 3 years son) within 60 days which is Dec 01, 2013. PPR email says that I have to inform them immediately if we are intended to give birth before becoming permanent residents. In our case, yes, my wife was about to give birth to a baby boy on Nov 01, 2013 which was a C-section and was scheduled a long back. So, we had intimated CPP- Ottawa (my visa office) of the same through my representative immediately on the next day after I received my PPR. Also we requested CPP-Ottawa to extend the PPR validity so that we can add the new born. As of now my representative did not receive any response back from CPP-Ottawa.
I have called my representative yesterday and asked them what to do if we do not receive any reply from CPP-Ottawa before PPR dead line (Dec 01, 2013)? They said, we don't have to worry as we already made CPP-Ottawa aware that there is a new born in my family and need to add him to the existing application once he is born. Honestly I am still confused whether I can really stay cool even if they don't respond back to us before Dec 01, 2013.
My representative asked me to fill in and send the additional family application along with supporting documentation. Hopefully we can submit the complete set of application documents to CPP-Ottawa by first week of Dec.
My representative told me that we can't submit just our passports without new born's passport.
I really request you to let me know what to do in this scenario. Below is my timeline.
PPR: Oct 03, 2013
Passports to be submitted by: Dec 01, 2013
Medicals Expire: Jan 25, 2014
Thanks,
Sarayu.
