Hi everyone. i got PPR email yesterday.
I want to know:
1. For how much duration will the stamp be there on the passport. I have heard its either 3 or 6 months.
2. Will that 3/6 months start from PPR email date or stamping date ?

It's based on your medical. Usually the visa expires when your medical expires, which is one year from the date of your medical.

One year from Medical Test Date (date when report received by Cic, not when you took the test at Clinic/Hospital) or your Passport Expiry Date, whichever is earlier of the two.

Off topic. Did you use a gift deed for proof of funds?

i didnt. but i know someone who did and received PR. what do you want to know.
I want to know if the deed was notarised (as in a legal document) or just a plain deed (on an A4 sheet) was sufficient.

Some of the formats that I saw in the forum mention the check number. However my gift was transferred over a series of netbanking transactions. Am I doing something wrong here?

They did it on a notarized paper. For your case, check number is not required. Just mention total amount transferred.
